Apollo manufactures products which are applied directly from a cartridge. These materials are usually of high viscosity and provide a non-slumping bead of adhesive or sealant. Cartridges can be of various sizes but the most common size is 310ml.
The cartridge is dispensed using a skeleton gun, applying pressure manually via a trigger. A compressed air gun or foil sausage packaging can be used when large quantities of product need to be dispensed.
The following adhesives can be dispensed using this cartridge format:
- polyurethane
- polychloroprene
- SBR/NR
- MS polymer
- silicone
- acrylic
